4000 level. We are using Hal R/ Varian's classic text. "Micro-economic Analysis".
We just did producer theory, which is chapter 1.

Is that around Cobb-Douglas? Or are you past that?
The math is complicated, but it is much easier for me to think of it in terms of geometry than calculus (I got thrown into econ without calculus experience in high school, it sucked), so try to play around with graphic utilities to get a better feel for how the numbers work.

About my other reply, DAMN, they removed the links to all his notes and online lessons. It was up last year. That sucks. I'll see if I can dig them back up, but he basically has the entire course, explained clearly and easily, available for free to anyone.

Thanks. I have got thrown into this with only teaching myself basic calc so I am understanding some of the theorectical concepts just not necessarily all the maths.

It might help if you record your class, most phones these days come with voice recorders.
